Nicole - our student teacher, organised two special visitors for us at school today. We were so pleased to have a visit today from Senior Constable Marcus and Forensics Specialist Chris. This was supporting our learning about Forensic Science.

The time flew by as we asked questions, explored fingerprints and talked about investigating crime scenes.
Chris showed us how he lifts a fingerprint and what the print can tell him when he investigates a crime scene.
We were amazed when we realised how many fingerprints were on our door frames and windows!

Today we learnt some new skills and thinking to apply to our own classroom investigation.

We learnt about our job as witnesses - we are voices, eyes and ears in our communities! To help each other and work together, to keep ourselves and our community members safe!
